To cook whole, oil the meat (not the pan) and season with salt and pepper, sear the whole roll in a hot pan. Carefully remove the meat from the pan and place in a roasting dish, cook in a pre-heated oven (180 degrees) for approximately 1 hour then remove from oven, cover and allow to rest for 25 minutes before carving and serving.
Can also be sliced while fresh into scotch fillet steaks, maybe the 'Dad' in your world loves a big thick 400gm steak? Then this is the option for him!
