Are your goods delivered fresh or frozen?

We aim to dispatch the vast majority of our products as fresh in specially designed 'cardboard chiller boxes'. Not only is this safer from a food safety perspective, but this also allows you to freeze the products for later consumption.

We take care to ensure your order is packed with our reusable ice, is well sealed and stored (while not on route to you) in the correct chilled atmospheres. This guarantees our products will always arrive to you in the highest possible standard.

Please note our gel ice packs are designed to soften/defrost while on route, this ensures they have done the job correctly

Note; Some specialty products are only available as frozen, and we state this in the product information on our website. We recommend not to refreeze these products upon arrival as this may pose a health risk.

In the event that your order is delayed, rest assured we track all of our orders daily and will launch an investigation where required with our courier company

We recommend that all orders are temperature checked upon delivery 

Should feel concerned regarding the condition of your delivery please contact us orders@moreish.nz our friendly team will explain our process for you, beginning with placing your order immediately into a chiller or freezer, and then retesting the temperature after a period of time.

What are the 'best before' dates and can I freeze my order?  All products are individually vacuumed packed and labelled with applicable information, including packed on and best before dates.

The best before date is the recommended date we at Moreish are giving this product to be consumed by. However this item can be frozen down prior to this date and kept for different time frames depending on the type of meat. Due to the high quality vacuuming packing process we use the quality of your product if frozen will not be compromised.

Beef & Lamb can be stored frozen for up to 12 months

Pork & Chicken can be stored frozen for up to 9 months

When and where do you deliver?

We deliver to all major towns and cities within New Zealand, 4 days a week  (Tuesday to Friday).

Please note that we only deliver within city/town limits, and we do not deliver to rural (RD) addresses

*Any delays in delivery due to a Rural Address within the NZ Post system being used, will not be covered for any loss incurred

How can I track my delivery?

When your order is dispatched, you will be sent an email or text to say when order is packed and ready to be collected by yourself or the courier with a tracking number to use on the courier post website. You can also contact Courier Post (who do our deliveries) direct on 0800 268 743, or via their website at www.courierpost.co.nz , if you have any concerns please don't hesitate to contact us.

What if I have a problem?  What guarantee do you offer?

We guarantee that your products will arrive to our premium Moreish standard. If failure of delivery occurs by courier, or goods are not received in a condition that Moreish feels is up to its high quality standard, we will replace your order - packing it from fresh and having it delivered to your door free.  Please note this excludes orders that have been placed under an RD (Rural) Address as per our rural delivery terms above

If you do have a problem please email us orders@moreish.nz as soon as possible.  Please note we require you to contact us within 6 hours of receiving your order if you have any concerns over the quality of your order.  To follow our company policies and procedures we please note temperature readings and photos may be requested

All Moreish orders are dispatched as contactless delivery 'no signature required' so the courier has authority to leave your order at your address even if you are not home

Please note that we will not cover instances when you are not at home to receive the parcel, or where you place an order to an address that is outside city/town limits. Please check your address here to ensure we offer delivery to your address

Customer data sharing for marketing and analytics purposes includes facebook and instagram, shopify & mailchimp marketing platforms.

We keep your information safe by storing it in password protected accounts and only allowing certain staff to access it. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
